Whop announced a $200 million Series D on October 21, 2026, valuing the digital commerce platform at $5.1 billion. Sequoia Capital led the round, with Shopify Ventures participating. The valuation is about 3.2 times the $1.6 billion figure set during Tether’s strategic funding round in February 2026. Former Sequoia leader Doug Leone joined Whop’s board following the announcement. Whop said its annualized run-rate revenue exceeded $400 million as of September 2026, compared with $60 million at the beginning of 2025. It reported roughly 25,000 active business operators and an average blended transaction fee of approximately 6%. The company plans to expand its international team and establish regional offices in Europe and Colombia. It also reported more than 350,000 daily API calls across over 14,700 monthly active users of its newly launched Whop CLI and Model Context Protocol connectors, pointing to growing use of its developer tools.

Hyperlayer has raised £19.5 million in a Series A2 round led by existing investor Flintlock Capital, valuing the company at £195 million post-money. Mouro Capital and Susquehanna Private Equity Investments also participated. The funding brings Hyperlayer’s capital raised over the trailing 12 months to approximately £50 million, following a £30 million financing in late 2025. The company develops Layer Core, a programmable overlay designed to let banks manage product logic, pricing and automated compliance above their existing core systems, which continue to record ledger transactions. Hyperlayer says it has secured deployment mandates with unnamed Tier 1 banks in Europe and North America. The round supports an international rollout following its US market launch in September 2026. Alongside the financing, Hyperlayer named Ben Helps chief operating officer and Louise Chan chief commercial officer. Flintlock Capital co-founder and general partner Joe Shamess joined its board.

Ramp said on October 15, 2026, that it raised $1.85 billion in primary financing at a $60 billion valuation, up 36% from the valuation attached to a $750 million round four months earlier. Dragoneer Investment Group led the new financing, with Thrive Capital, Founders Fund, Sands Capital and Avenir Growth as co-leads. Ramp reported annualized revenue above $2 billion, positive cash flow, more than 85,000 business customers and annualized transaction volume exceeding $275 billion, up 175% year over year. The spend-management company plans to invest in AI-driven financial automation and proprietary model infrastructure while expanding in the UK and continental Europe. Its existing initiatives include Router.com, an API designed to help enterprises manage generative AI costs, and acquisitions that secured UK and European payment licenses. Ramp has not disclosed how it will divide the proceeds among its priorities or set specific European launch dates. The financing follows Capital One’s acquisition of competitor Brex earlier this year.
